School Uniform


The following dress regulations have been confirmed by the Governing Body and adopted to help sustain pride in the school and a sense of belonging and a high standard of presentation.  Pupils are always expected to be in official school uniform.  Please arrange to have name tabs on each separate article of clothing.

Additional guidance to ensure uniformity
•    A sweatshirt cannot be worn on its own.
•    Plain black tailored trousers to the ankle must be worn; jeans, leggings or jeggings are not allowed.
•    Plain black shoes with low heels, no trainers.
•    Pupils are allowed to wear one pair of ear studs, no other piercing are allowed, also bracelets or necklaces are not allowed.
•    Pupils are expected to conform to expectations about their appearance.
    

The school uniform is ordered on the Internet through the official suppliers,“My Clothing” and prices are shown on the website.
    
Parents of pupils who receive free meals are eligible to receive a grant of £105 to purchase a school uniform.  Parents need to make an application to Gwynedd Council to receive this grant.
    
REQUIREMENTS FOR LESSONS
The school provides textbooks and exercise books for students, and each pupil will also need the following – 

  • pen (black or blue ink)      
  • ruler         
  • protractor 
  • pencil         
  • coloured pencils        
  • compass
  • rubber        
  • pencil case        
  • scientific calculator (possible to order through the school)
